The silver night awoke around all the creatures of the dark, the sounds of the deep forest echoing in the distance, the monsters of the mountains reverberating through the air. Two silver-gray eyes glinted in the moonlight's sheen, flashing as the light bounded off of them and into the dark shadows beneath. Halcyon didn't once blink as she brushedb her silver-gray hair from her pointed ears and into a tight wrap, fastening it back with a velvet lace. Her skin was almost as white as the snow, her body thin and slender. Abnormally thing she was to humans, but human she was not and as did not compare her structure to theirs. To their eyes she was beautiful and fragile appearing, but to her own kin, many knew much better. She was dangerous, and an outlaw sought by many whom she had never even known existed before they saw the large bounty on her head.
Halcyon had long severed herself from any ties, any family, or any friends. If she was to survive she could let no one know of her existence, and try to become lost in the new worlds she ventured in to to escape those chasing her. This land she had passed through once before, but must stop by again for some supplies. She had once lived here a while, with her family a long long time ago, since then deeply buried beneath her troubles and long forgotten. The Moon Elf held no anticipation as she made her way from the dark and onto the trodden gravel path. Her spindly body was covered with a black cloak fastened with a brooch bearing the symbol of a white phoenix, an un-beleiveable creature only her kin of elf clan beleived ever to be. There were not many Moon Elves left, their pure clan slowly dieing out as those of the Gold Elves.
Halcyon knew this path well, and already knew all she'd need and how'd she'd get it. Few small towns, such as these, did not bother her. The people were mostly cut off from much communication, and did not know about her. So she felt quite comfortable in such remote places. But she still must be vigilant, should someone follow her into such a town and alert the people, getting her where-abouts. Halcyon paused a minute and turned towards the night, mouthing a silent prayer before, with a twirl of her cloak, dashed off into the night once more to begin her journey and rob the people of their supplies.
((sry tis short! gotta run!))
